Well, fun today. The great thing about Australian politics is every day the Prime Minister must enter the house of representatives and face open questions, or worse. Something that is sadly lacking in US politics.
Today a censure motion was entered into the Australian Parliament to condemn Australian Prime Minister John Howard for his statements, and later lying about what he said. This involved the leader of the opposition standing 5 meters away and telling him how badly he screwed up for 20 minutes.
Here is the video of Opposition leader Kevin Rudd telling him off, including Howard having his own words thrown back in his face.
The Censure motion was defeated under party lines, but that's not really the point of these, it's more an opportunity to make a nice speech.
I was going to put the speech in here, but it's 3,000 words and it might break something. If you want to read the speech, I have put a webpage up with the text at this link
